FollowMe Settings - Important First Step
The FollowMe settings apply to every myViewBoard Whiteboard and Classroom session. These settings 'follow' the user across devices and sessions to make using myViewBoard apps more convenient and consistent.
To customize your FollowMe settings, first log in to myviewboard.com by "signing in with Google" and then:
Activating the Whiteboard App
To activate the Whiteboard app on the ViewSonic Interactive Panel, teachers can enter in their NCSU email address. If you have questions, please contact Aime Forbes.
myViewBoard Display for Windows
The Display app turns any device into a wireless display that can be shared with just a code and password. For example, the Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) can become a display that any other device with a suitable web browser can use to display their screen. Visit the website found on the IFP, enter the code and password to be able to present.
How to Thoroughly Disinfect and Clean Your Viewboard Interactive Display
Before You Start
Make sure the device is powered off.
NEVER spray or pour any liquid directly onto your screen or case. Doing so could irreparably damage your device.
Cleaning the Screen
Take a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and gently wipe down your screen to remove dust and other particles.
If your screen is still dirty, apply a small amount of 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution to your cloth and gently wipe down the exterior of your display. Alternatively, you can also use a 70% IPA wipe (such as Clorox).
Cleaning the Case
Take a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and gently wipe down the case to remove dust and other particles.
If your case is still dirty, apply a small amount of 70% IPA solution to your cloth and gently wipe down the case. Alternatively, you can also use a 70% IPA wipe (such as Clorox).
Whenever possible, try using a 70-75% IPA solution rather than a more concentrated solution (such as 90% to 99%). While stronger solutions might give the appearance of safety, 70–75% IPA solutions are more effective at penetrating the membrane of viruses such as COVID-19.
Solutions that are stronger than 90% require longer times for disinfection and may enable spores to lie dormant without being killed. Always remember to wash your hands before and after using an interactive flat panel display.
