Dear NCSU Families,
We are excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at North Country Supervisory Union called ParentSquare.
This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and to encourage greater engagement and connection with all supervisory union schools.
It provides a safe way for supervisory union administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
Send and receive school and class information
Share pictures and files
See calendar items
Sign up to volunteer
Schedule parent-teacher conferences and much more . . . all in one centralized place!
All supervisory union, school, grade level, and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).
Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the desktop version or the Help tab on the app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions. You may also email the NCSU Education Technology Department at ncsu.it@ncsuvt.org.
North Country Supervisory Union uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number.
We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH PARENTSQUARE:
Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once at 6pm daily
Communicate in your preferred language
Comment on school postings to engage in your school community
Participate in group messages
Sign up for parent-teacher conferences with smart online technology
Send and sign forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer and more all from your phone or web portal
