iPads:

All school iPads are managed through the NCSU IT Department so if you have problems that aren't fixed by these quick help options. Please contact (802) 334-5487 ext. 2018 or email it@ncsuvt.org 

When you reach out please provide, which school the device is from, what problem you are having and if possible the name of the device or asset tag. 


To Update your device: Go to Settings, General, Software Update. 

** Please note you will need at least 50% battery to install an update. **

To Close out Apps: Double Tap the Home Button, then swipe the mini screens you see up to fully close the app out. 

To Join WiFi Network: Settings, Wi-Fi, Select your network and enter credentials. 

For issues with apps freezing, your device freezing:


1.Try Restarting your iPad. Hold power button until this slide appears. then slide and your device will shut off.  

2. If the slider doesn't come up. Perform a Hard Reset. To do this Hold the Power Button and Home Buttons down until you see the apple logo on your screen. 

3. Try Charging your device. 

4. Close out all Apps, if possible.
